First Manchester 60663 - T845 MAK
60663 | T845 MAK - New in 1999, T845 MAK was bought for First's Mainline devision in Sheffield. However, very early on in its career, it was transferred to Bury in early 2000 and remembered from 845 to 60663 in First's national fleet numbering system.
Transferring between Bury and Queens Road for most of its early career, eventually, in 2005, she was transferred to Wigan upon the introduction of the B7RLES in central Manchester. It spent the next 7 years at Wigan, however before Stagecoach's takeover of the depot, was finally transferred back to Queens Road where it ended its service life. In 2014, it was then reused as a training bus for Weston Street, where it saw use until the end of its career with First in 2019. However, diamond continued to use the bus as a training / shuttle bus until November 2023, where it suffered a catastrophic engine failure on the motorway. Early 2024, after 25 years in service, it was decided to be stood down, at which point it was preserved by us.
